CCCD to participate in the International Workshop on Resource Mobilization

THE Creative Centre for Communication and Development (CCCD) will be participating at the International Workshop on Resource Mobilization (IWRM 2012) in Kampala, Uganda. CCCD’s participation in this critical workshop was made possible by the generous support from the Africa Women Development Fund (AWDF). AWDF support will see CCCD’s Director, Gertrude Pswarayi joining other civil society organisations from more than 20 African countries at the event that takes place from the 27-30 of November 2012. The purpose of this workshop is to equip organizations with the means and the skills to harness funds for organizational purposes and programs. 24 topics on fundraising will be presented by international speakers. This workshop will see the CCCD developing it fundraising strategy and thinking through the process of mobilizing resources for all their programmes. We see the IWRM 2012 as an opportunity to network and market the organization while learning and sharing our work with other people.
